A Message from The Mayor
Citizens and Friends of Parker:
First and foremost, on behalf of the Parker Chamber of Commerce, welcome to Parker! For three-glorious days, June 11th through June 13th, you’ll experience and be a part of the greatest event held every year entitled “Parker Days.”
It is a time for families and friends to experience the spirit our community has to offer and the pride it feels in doing so. It is a time to meet and make new friends. It is a time to say, “Welcome home!” to those new families and people that have chosen Parker as their home.
The Parker Chamber of Commerce has been hosting this event for over 40 years and it never ceases to amaze me how much heart they pour into it. The Parker Chamber of Commerce exhibits the love and pride that has helped us to become the community we are today.
Beginning on Thursday evening, June 10th, come enjoy the Family Carnival Night. Notice the word, “Family.” The Parker Chamber of Commerce is a family-oriented entity in Parker. Come be a part of the family-spirit of Parker. From then on, enjoy the entertainment, food, expo, and marketplace. All of Parker’s downtown is being utilized for this great event.
The Parker Day event officially opens on Friday, June 11th at 5 PM. End your long workweek, unwind, and start your weekend. On Saturday, June 12th, the annual Parker Day Parade takes place, starting at 10 AM. Please refer to the website, http://parkerdays.org for the parade route change and best viewing.
Promise yourself, your family, and friends to have FUN! FUN! FUN! and more FUN!
My heart-felt thanks to the Parker Chamber of Commerce for all the hard work and dedication they place on this event. It is their showcase and the people of Parker benefit so much from it.
Let the fun begin for all of you. Be safe and enjoy.
Mayor David Casiano
